LTRK
Laboratory for Applied Rheology and Polymer Processing
Please follow the links below to read on about the laboratory and the team.
Research
Our research aims at designing methodologies for intelligent process or product(formulation) design using so-called "complex fluids". Both colloidal fluids and polymer melts receive their fair share of atttention.
Infrastructure
Our equipment includes traditional rheological equipment (rotational and capillary rheometers), and techniques to measure elongational properties. There is also a wide range of techniques to characterize the flow-induced microstructure, including microscopic techniques, light scattering and rheo-optical methods. There is also some equipment for processing of polymers and dispersions. We also have a range of instruments to measure the interfacial rheology and the dynamics of the structure at an interface.

The faculty, postdoctoral and graduate students and technical staff.
